During your apprenticeship as an ICT specialist, you will answer enquiries from PUBLICA’s 120 staff about hardware, software, networks and communication systems, either on the telephone or via a ticket system. You will work in first- or second-level support, helping users make the most of ICT. You will assist with maintenance of workplace systems, peripherals, mobile devices, servers, network components and communication tools, as well as the relevant software and interfaces. You will troubleshoot problems with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, printers and various applications used in our business areas. You will update documentation, instructions and checklists, and work on projects. During the first seven months of your first year, you will attend the basic programme at the vocational training centre in Bern, with funding from PUBLICA.
