PUBLICA already has a presence at Cèdres Park: 49 apartments and one commercial premises have been rented out since 2023. The four new buildings add 166 apartments as well as commercial premises covering some 1,300 m² to the Federal Pension Fund’s involvement, and continue the development of a neighbourhood that is growing in size and as a community.
Timeline and next steps
Handover to the new tenants will take place in phases, starting in spring 2026. A show apartment has already been fitted out in building I, to give potential occupiers an initial impression. Marketing for the apartments is set to begin at the end of November 2025. You can find more information at cedres-park.ch.
Socially responsible and sustainable
Cèdres Park relies on energy-efficient construction to the Minergie standard, renewable energy using solar panels, heat recovery and the use of recycled concrete. Around 55% of the surface area is greened – with natural spaces, trees, lawns and communal gardens. The neighbourhood is largely car-free, with underground parking and good public transport connections. A total of 22 apartments are allocated to social housing, helping to create a diverse community.
This ceremony highlights what is important to PUBLICA: honouring the contribution of everyone involved and investing in a neighbourhood that offers good quality of life. What’s being constructed here are not just buildings, but living spaces. – Christoph Gerber, Head of Real Estate at PUBLICA
